Hi, I’m Hope
- the hands and heart behind Hope Blooms.
I’ve always had an eye for design and a deep love for the natural world, but somehow this work found me before I ever thought to seek it out. I started in the wedding industry back in 2015, working at a local venue in my hometown as a fun college job at the time. After school I joined a design studio as their project coordinator, managing timelines, logistics, and all the beautiful moving parts that bring an event to life. At the same time I began designing florals for friends and family. Over time, flowers started to take center stage. The demand grew, the work deepened, and what once felt like a creative outlet quickly took on a life of its own. I eventually stepped away from the design firm to follow the path that had been blooming all along, and I’ve been flowering stories full time ever since.
Weddings are a world of energy, emotion, and detail, and floral design lets me live right in the center of it all. I’ve always been a problem solver, a creative thinker, and someone who will bend over backwards to bring a vision to life. This work demands flexibility, intuition, and heart, and I love that I get to keep innovating and elevating with every event.
What moves me most is how flowers mirror the nature of a wedding day, brief, beautiful, impossible to recreate. Flowers, like stories, exist in moments, short, vivid, and unforgettable. They’re here to express something that can’t always be said. As Alice once said, “You can learn a lot of things from the flowers.” And in this work I’m always listening, designing with care, intention, and a deep respect for the moments that teach us to be completely present.
And when I say I love what I do, I mean it. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the most incredible couples, thoughtful, joyful, deeply inspiring people, and it’s an honor to be part of such a meaningful chapter in their lives.
You can usually find me in the studio with my corgi Chihuahua sidekick, Butter, who is both my biggest supporter and greatest adversary (especially when she’s hoarding discarded flower stems under the workbench). Late night prep sessions are powered by ABBA, Audible, and a concerning amount of blue Jolly Ranchers.
If you're looking for someone who cares deeply, designs intentionally, and shows up fully, I would be honored to bring your vision to life in flowers.
